Institute of Medical and Paramedical Science was established in the year 1997 by Dr. M. Santi Kumar Singha at Rongpur, Silchar-9.1t was inaugurated by Dr. M. H. Hazarika the then Joint Director of Health Services, Cachar. In the year 2000 Sri Manas Kumar Bhattacharjee, ADC, Cachar inaugurated its city office at Ismail Market, Central Road, Silchar-1.
The objective of the Institute is to promote Primary Health Care Services to the rural areas through training and education of Paramedical personnels. Institute of Medical and Paramedical Science is chartered by SMPS Registered under SR Act of 1860. Institute of Medical and Paramedical Science is ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institute. The leader in Paramedical Science since 1997. Compliment receipient of World Health Organisation and UNICEF. UKIQ International Accredited and duly sponsored by Society of Medical and Paramedical Science.
